LED light switch wiring harness for Can-Am Defender HD11, replaces 715009886

LED light wiring with a rocker switch

This replacement wiring harness and rocker switch are for Can-Am Defender HD11 applications that use reference 715009886. The harness has corrugated wire covering, fitted connectors and a ring terminal. The kit shown includes cable ties and two nuts.

Supply is the wiring and switch kit. LED lamps, a light bar and an Accessory Control Module (ACM) are separate items.

Choose the correct lighting setup

Confirm that your lamp's installation instructions call for 715009886 and that the connectors match your vehicle and lamp. Fit depends on the Defender HD11 package and mounting location; this kit does not establish compatibility with every Defender model or every LED accessory.

For the Defender G2 SMART hood light 715011539, Can-Am specifies harness 715009886 for basic switch operation. Automatic SMART functions require ACM 715009121. Can-Am also specifies 715009886 for basic operation of SMART 10-inch LED light bar 715008745 when an ACM is absent. The harness alone does not add speed-responsive SMART lighting.

If you are fitting rear LED light 715008236, its installation also requires a Sport Roof, Deluxe Sport Roof or Audio Roof. Vehicles without the necessary roof wiring and liner need roof power cable and cable cover kit 715010489 plus front roof liner 715009196. Check these requirements before ordering a harness for a rear light installation.
