Bottom mounting bracket for Sunchaser II RV awnings

This aluminum replacement bracket holds the lower awning arm foot against the RV wall on a matching Sunchaser II setup. The package contains one assembled bracket and two mounting screws. Its flat backplate has a mounting hole at each end, while the projecting latch receives the arm's patio foot.

Before ordering, confirm that the awning is a Sunchaser II and compare both mounting-hole centers and the latch shape with the existing part. Hole spacing and bracket dimensions are not specified, so the photos should not be used as a scale drawing.

Dometic's Sunchaser II installation manual places this bottom bracket on the coach wall, with the patio foot at the bottom of the inner arm snapping into it. Follow the manual for the installed awning when replacing the bracket, including suitable structural backing and sealing the mounting penetrations. If wall molding creates a gap behind the bracket, check the required spacer arrangement before fastening it.
