- Product type
- Winch Remote Socket Cover
What this kit does
A truck winch remote unplugs when you do not need it, and the open socket behind it collects dust, water and road grime. This kit replaces the plug cover for that socket. The cap presses onto the round fitting and seals it while the remote is off, and the tether keeps the cap with the winch.
- Covers the remote socket to keep out dust and moisture
- Tether strap and mounting flange hold the cap next to the winch
- Direct replacement that presses on; the mounting screws come with it
Fit check
The cap fits truck winches with a round remote socket. It does not fit winches with a D-shaped socket, so look at the socket on your winch before you order.
WARN parts dealers list 98544 as the socket cover for WARN truck winches with the round remote socket, where it replaces the older 13299 cap. This cover is an aftermarket part and is not made by WARN.
Check the socket shape before ordering: round sockets take this cap and D-shaped sockets do not.
