Fit notes for the Xbox 360 controller

The outer shell screws on an Xbox 360 wireless controller are Torx security screws with a center pin. iFixit repair guides point out that a plain T8 bit cannot engage a pinned screw; the job needs a T8 security (TR8) bit with a hole in the tip. The product title and listing for this set do not say whether the T8 bit here is the security type.

Inside the controller, the D-pad screws are Phillips head, and this set contains no Phillips driver.
