INJORA 53mm threaded oil shocks for TRX4M, four-piece set

This set contains four INJORA shock absorbers, part number 4M-24, in red aluminum bodies with black springs fitted. INJORA builds them as 1/18 scale upgrade dampers for the TRX4M crawler line. Each shock weighs 6g and measures 53mm eye to eye when extended.

The shock bodies are CNC machined aluminum with external threads, so you can turn the collars and set preload quickly. The bottom rod end is nylon, and the telescopic design gives 14mm of travel.

Springs, preload and oil

Both spring rates come in the box. The softer black springs are the ones fitted in the listing photo, and the silver 0.5mm springs are stiffer. INJORA says the choice can be adjusted according to the chassis, and that turning the nut ring to shorten the spring gives better rebound.

These are oil dampers, but they ship without oil. INJORA recommends 20-40wt shock oil.

Buy shock oil separately and fill each shock before the first run.

Fit and compatibility

INJORA lists these shocks for the Defender, Bronco, K10 High Trail, F-150 and TRX4MT bodies of the 1/18 TRX4M line. In its own Q&A, INJORA notes that TRX4M and Ascent 18 shocks use different screws and bushings, so the fit is TRX4M specific.

Confirm your model is a TRX4M before ordering. Mounting screws and bushings differ on other 1/18 crawlers.
