Before choosing this kit

The meter and lancing device are for single-patient use and must not be shared, including with family members. Use a new test strip and sterile lancet for each test. Replacement strips must be Glucoracy G-425-2 strips.

This system is not intended for diagnosing or screening diabetes, testing newborns, or use in healthcare or assisted-use settings such as hospitals, physicians' offices and long-term care facilities.

The manual excludes use in people who are critically ill, dehydrated, hypertensive, hypotensive or in shock, and in a hyperglycemic-hyperosmolar state with or without ketosis. Oxygen therapy and some substances above normal or therapeutic concentrations can affect readings. Ask your healthcare provider whether the system is suitable for you, including any medicines or supplements you take.
