Alternator relocation brackets for Jeep 4.0L projects

This aftermarket kit provides two brackets for a matching Jeep XJ Cherokee or Wrangler 4.0L alternator relocation setup. The satin-finish brackets are made from 6061 aluminum. One has a long cylindrical mounting boss; the other has a shorter, shaped boss. Their different profiles form the mounting arrangement shown for this kit.

Check the accessory layout before ordering

Compare both bracket profiles and hole positions with your engine's existing accessory mounts and the alternator being used. Confirm the vehicle year, alternator mounting ears and intended relocation position. Engine displacement alone does not establish a match.

Confirm whether your planned installation retains air conditioning, and check the required belt route and length for that arrangement. A specific year range, relocation height and air-conditioning configuration are not supplied for this kit.

During trial fitting, check pulley alignment, belt clearance and access to the electrical connections. Bracket dimensions, bolt threads and tightening torque are not specified; establish these before final assembly using instructions appropriate to the vehicle and relocation setup.
