The 2879543 rider backrest system does not work with Genuine Leather Extended Reach seats. For 2014-2017 Chief Classic and Chief Vintage, 2017 Chief Dark Horse, and 2016-2017 Springfield applications, the rider backrest also excludes Extended Tour seats. Check the seat part number if the original seat has been changed.
Installation requires access beneath the rider seat. Keep the wiring harness clear of the bracket and secure the seat correctly when refitting it. Follow mounting instructions that match your motorcycle and this replacement bracket.
