Check the cart's speed control system
Confirm that the cart has the 36V V-Glide resistor system and needs the second speed coil corresponding to 1014014. The 1989-2003 year range alone does not establish fit. Gasoline carts and electric carts with a solid-state speed controller do not use this coil in their speed control system.
Compare the coil shape, end connections and mounting arrangement with the original part before ordering. The first speed coil has a different turn count, so select the coil by its position and reference number.
Service note
Resistor coils become hot during operation and can cause severe burns. Follow the maintenance and service manual for the cart's actual configuration before handling or replacing the coil.
