- Product type
- Fish Lip Gripper
Overview
This fish lip gripper holds a caught fish by the lower lip. The serrated jaws clamp on so the fish hangs from the tool while you remove the hook or take a photo, and your hand stays clear of the mouth.
The frame works as a scissor tool. Two straight arms pivot on a riveted joint, and squeezing the arms together closes the jaws. Each arm has a row of cutout holes, a black coil lanyard attaches at the base, and a gray storage sleeve holds the tool between trips.

Before you order
The supplier listing specifies 1 piece per pack. Length and material come from that listing and have not been measured or tested here, so treat the 21 cm figure as the seller's number. The listing also markets the same tool as flat tweezers and fish controllers; the tool itself is a lip gripper and has no remote-control function.
If you target fish with heavy bodies or sharp teeth, compare the unconfirmed material and the listed length against the fish you handle before ordering.
