60 pinned nylon hinges in three sizes
This pack supplies 60 white nylon hinges for fixed-wing RC airplanes: 20 small, 20 medium and 20 large. Each hinge is a two-leaf joint with a center pin, made to be glued into place and connect a control surface such as an aileron, elevator or rudder. The pin between the leaves lets the surface pivot after installation.

How to install
One leaf bonds to the fixed structure and the other to the control surface. The supplier recommends different glues depending on the airframe material.
- On KT board (foam board) airframes, cut a slot at each hinge position, fill the slot with hot glue and insert the hinge leaf.
- On balsa wood airplanes, bond the hinge leaf directly in place with CA glue (502 type).
- After the glue sets, move the control surface by hand and check that it still pivots freely.
Keep glue away from the hinge pin. Glue that reaches the pin locks the joint, and the control surface will not move.
