What this arm does
The arm screws between the existing shower arm outlet and the shower head. Both sections pivot on hinged joints, so you can raise or lower the head and tilt it to a different angle. Total length is 5 inches from end to end, which suits small height corrections. The shower head is not included.

How the locking joints hold position
Each joint has a wing-style set screw. Finger pressure on the wings loosens the joint, and the same pressure tightens it again once the angle is set. The set screws hold the arm in place so the shower head does not slip or droop after adjustment.
Installation
- Unscrew the shower head from the current shower arm.
- Thread the extension arm on by hand and snug the nuts. No tools are needed.
- Fit the shower head onto the arm's outlet.
- Pivot the arm to the height and angle you want, then tighten both wing screws.
Check both connections for drips after the first hot shower and re-tighten by hand if needed.
Before ordering, confirm the shower arm outlet and the shower head both use standard G1/2 connections. The 5 inch arm is meant for small adjustments and pairs best with compact or lightweight shower heads.
