Product type
Trailer Tandem Slider Positioning Tools

Two stop tools for trailer tandem repositioning

This pair of tandem slide stoppers provides temporary stops when repositioning a compatible semi-trailer slider. Each tool has a cylindrical shaft, a broad round flange and a central opening. Two individual tools are supplied.

These are positioning tools. The trailer's own locking pins secure the slider for travel and must remain serviceable. The stoppers do not replace those pins, their release mechanism or the trailer manufacturer's required stop bar.

Check the rail opening and working clearance

Measure the intended rail opening and check that the shaft profile can seat correctly. The flange needs clearance to bear against the rail without interfering with the slider. The shaft diameter and taper require confirmation; a nominal hole size alone does not establish fit. No trailer brand or model coverage is specified for this pair.

Use the trailer manufacturer's repositioning procedure. Place or remove the tools only with the vehicle secured and the slider stationary, and keep people clear of the wheels and moving slider during adjustment. Before travel, remove the temporary tools and verify that every original locking pin is fully engaged. A damaged or sticking locking system needs repair independently of these stoppers.
