What this adapter does

The Kraton 6S BLX and EXB trucks come from Arrma with 17mm wheel hexes. Arrma 8S trucks and their wheels use a larger 24mm hex, so an 8S wheel will not mount on a stock 6S hub. This adapter slides over the 17mm hex and presents a 24mm face. With it installed, 24mm-hex wheels, including the wider 8S tires, fit a 6S truck.

Before you order

• Confirm your truck uses 17mm wheel hexes. Kraton 6S BLX and EXB models do.
• 8S wheels are larger and heavier than 6S wheels. The added weight loads the drivetrain and stock motor harder.
• A taller tire changes gearing and can slow acceleration.
• Full steering lock and suspension travel may need a clearance check after the swap.

Seat the adapter fully on the hub before mounting a wheel. If a wheel wobbles after installation, stop running and reseat it.

Installation steps

1. Remove the stock wheels from both hubs.
2. Seat each adapter onto the 17mm hex until it sits flush.
3. Mount each 24mm-hex wheel onto the adapter face.
4. Reinstall and tighten the wheel hardware, then spin each wheel to confirm it runs straight.
5. Check tire clearance at full steering lock and full suspension compression before the first run.
