Broad-head screws for lath and sheet metal

These 410 stainless steel self-drilling screws come in packs of 100. Each screw has a broad, low-profile truss head with a cross recess and a drill point. Choose a length of 13, 16, 19, 25 or 32 mm.

The broad head sits above the surface. Allow space for it if another part will cover the fixing.

Choosing a length and checking the fit

Select the length for the assembled material thickness and the clearance behind the fixing. The broad head needs to fit the attachment and sit flat against it. Each size option is a 100-piece pack of one length, from M4.2X13MM through M4.2X32MM.

#8 and M4.2 are the size labels for this listing. They do not specify a metric machine-screw thread pitch. For a replacement, compare the screw's diameter, head shape and point with the fixing you need.

For sheet-metal work, confirm that the screw suits the metal and thickness you are fastening. Drilling capacity, load rating and drive-bit size are not specified.
