Match the remote to your equipment
A brand name narrows the search. The complete equipment model, remote reference and listed controls determine which replacement to consider. Start with those details before comparing price or appearance.
Read both labels
Look for the device model on its label or in its manual. Check the old remote for a printed reference, including inside the battery compartment. Keep model numbers separate from serial numbers.
Compare the controls
Check power, input, volume and any functions you use, such as voice, ZOOM, FLIP or bed positions. A familiar outline or matching button colour does not establish compatibility.
Check setup and contents
Read the individual listing for batteries, programming or pairing. A replacement may use a different handset from the original. Comparison photos can show items that are not supplied.

Buying for a fan, air conditioner or adjustable bed?
Record the equipment model and the full code on the old handset. For fans and adjustable beds, consult the equipment manual for any receiver, control-box or pairing requirements. For air conditioners, compare the listed operating modes and controls as well as the model reference.
If a listing does not state the information needed to confirm your match, contact Keyead with the device model, old remote reference and a clear photo of its front and label. Leave an uncertain match unconfirmed until those details can be checked.
Replacement remote questions
Can I choose a remote by brand alone?
Use the complete model and the compatibility details in the listing. One brand can use different remotes across its product ranges. The EKO GTV-RC-AU example also calls for checking the old remote code and the TV's pairing requirements.
Is every replacement remote universal?
No. This collection includes replacements with specific model lists or matching conditions. Only treat a remote as universal for your equipment when its own listing explicitly supports that equipment and explains the required setup.
Will it work without programming?
Read the setup information for the exact item. The Samsung soundbar, Wielio AT-M269D and MERACH MR-2398 examples above state that no programming is required. The RF358A adjustable-bed replacement needs pairing with the base. Those instructions do not apply to every remote in the collection.
Are batteries and the original handset included?
Check package contents and battery requirements separately. The examples above exclude batteries. The Sony replacement supplies the long PZL 4in1 handset; the smaller original remote in its comparison photo is a reference only. A device brand in a compatibility description does not establish that the replacement is an original-manufacturer item.
What if I have lost the original remote?
Start with the equipment's full model number and its owner's manual. Search that code, then read each result's compatibility list. If a listing requires an exact old-button-layout match and you cannot verify it, ask for a compatibility check before ordering.
What should I check if the replacement does not respond?
Check the stated battery type, polarity and any pairing or programming instructions for that item. Recheck the equipment model against the listing. Use the equipment manual for further setup steps; do not apply an unrelated model's reset or pairing procedure.
